Iran’s Parlimentary Speaker Trolls the US Over Treasury Market Turbulence

Earlier this week, I posted a note on how I believe Tehran has a bond market strategy as part of their overall fight against the US (the graph below). This morning, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, posted the below meme tweet mocking the US and the state of the Treasury markets - which goes directly to my earlier point. 

Iran is fighting an extraordinary and highly unusual asymmetrical war against the US. And markets should expect them to extend it to every part of the global markets they can reach.
